SEMINAR ROOM

The LonDEC Seminar Room is a fully equipped, versatile training area designed to teach groups or host meetings up to 60 delegates. The Seminar Room is a bright, pleasant, air-conditioned environment to teach in, with dimmable lighting and window blinds for bright days.

Host your theory training and lectures in our Seminar Room, equipped with:

  • Twin widescreen digital projectors
  • Digital visualiser
  • Flip chart
  • Glass wipe board
  • Tutor PC (with internet access)
  • Lapel microphone
  • HDMI connectivity for tutor laptops
  • Wi-Fi access throughout the centre via Cloud

The Seminar Rooms flexible furniture arrangements allow for a variety of setups to suit the size of your group:

  • Chairs Only – allowing up to 60 seats
  • Tables can be arranged in the following styles:
    • 3 Rows Classroom – allowing up to 32 seats
    • Cabaret – allowing up to 40 seats
    • Boardroom – allowing up to 24 seats

CLINICAL SKILLS TRAINING ROOM

The LonDEC Clinical Skills Training Room is fully equipped to allow the delivery of the most advanced techniques in modern dentistry.

Equipped with 32 latest edition phantom head workstations, daylight room lighting and an array of IT equipment to be able to teach comfortably all day.

 

Each Phantom Head Workstation is equipped with:

  • Working light with 2 levels of brightness plus yellow safe light.
  • Instrument Kits:
    • Crown & Bridge.
    • Composite.
    • Endodontic.
    • Oral Surgery.
  • Handpieces:
    • Turbine.
    • Latch Grip 1/1 Contra Angle Electric.
    • Friction Grip 1/5 Speed Increasing Contra Angle Electric.
    • Straight.
  • Tray, bowl, and safety glasses.
  • Provided PPE: Gloves, Aprons and Masks.
  • PC and monitor to view tutor station teaching output.

Tutor Workstation has all the above plus:

INFECTION CONTROL TRAINING SUITE

The LonDEC Infection Control Training Suite is a single room infection control area designed to deliver team-wide training on decontamination and infection control.

The Training Room features:

  • Air pressure-controlled ‘clean side’ and ‘dirty side’ for the simulation of real-world clinical environments.
  • Room has colour demarcation floors for visual recognition of clean and dirty areas.
  • Equipped with: Sinks, Ultrasonic cleaner, Washer/Disinfector, Vacuum and Non-Vacuum Autoclaves for demonstrating best-practice decontamination and infection control.
  • Serviced by a dedicated Bio-Pure water processor plant.
  • Equipped with 3 SMOTS ™ ceiling-mounted video cameras to capture training sessions for in-depth debriefing and analysis.
  • It is coupled with a dedicated classroom for groups of up to 8 delegates, plus tutor.
  • The classroom is fitted with a large table, tutor PC (with internet access) and a wall mounted 65” display.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY TRAINING SUITE

The LonDEC Medical Emergency Training Suite is designed to deliver immersive medical emergency training to the entire practice team.

The Medical Surgery features:

  • Realistic Dental Surgery teaching environment for total immersion training scenarios.
  • Delegates practice on latest CAE Ares emergency care training simulation manikin, which provides instantaneous feedback on their resuscitation techniques.
  • Equipped with 5 SMOTS ™ ceiling-mounted video cameras to capture training scenarios for in-depth debriefing and analysis post emergency.
  • It is coupled with a dedicated classroom for groups of up to 8 delegates, plus tutor.
  • The classroom is fitted with one-way window, tutor PC (with internet access) and a wall mounted 65” display.
Light and spacious
breakout area

BREAKOUT AREA

Our totally remodelled breakout area is a light, spacious, beautifully furnished informal space for all delegates to relax, network and discuss the day’s training.

The Breakout Area features:

  • Features a 40’’ plasma screen to support course administration and view news.
  • Delegates can secure their valuables in secure, digitally self-coded lockers.
  • Array of power sockets which have USB charging ports.
  • Guest internet access throughout centre via Cloud.
  • Access to drinks station, supplying a variety of teas and coffees.
